A small, dependency-free license-header checker. It reads the first lines of a source file, looks for SPDX-License-Identifier, and tells you if the id you asked for is there. Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Rust, and Java.
Write mode is conservative: it will add a one-line header only when nothing license-like is already present. A different SPDX id, or an old copyright block, is left alone.
A local dataset card for the U.S. Census Bureau 2025 National Counties Gazetteer File. Source, license, fields, transform notes, and an 8-county sample with values unchanged. The full national file stays at Census; this is the card so the next person doesn’t start from scratch.
The shop you’re on. Multi-page HTML and CSS, one script for the checker, hosted on Cloudflare Pages. No framework, no tracker, no invented testimonials. Canonicals, a robots file, and a sitemap so search engines can find the real pages.
